Project Life 2014 ~ Week 31

Our Honeymoon...17 years in the making. It was wonderful! The water was so clear, the sand was white, and the beaches were beautiful. We went sight seeing and found some wonderful little shops. We walked on the beach, played miniature golf, ate amazing food, acted silly, and were just in love!

 

Project Life 2014 ~ Week 32

After all the excitement of the past few months we finally got a really relaxing week. Kade came to visit and we really enjoyed seeing him. I also got to have some tiny cantaloupe for breakfast, delicious. Besides that it was just lazy dog days of summer.

One of my dearest friends has a birthday the end of this month. The card got mixed in with the bills so he got it early, hope it made his day a little happier.
I love the new Simon Says Stamp shaker dies so much and they are so fun to play with! I used Recollections beads and of course Tim Holtz stamps and distress markers.

This card was made for a family member that was feeling under the weather. I love this Filigree Vase die by Spellbinders, even though I didn't use the filigree part. The flower stamps are from Hero Arts, the beads are from Recollections and the tiny flowers are from Simon Says Stamp. I really enjoyed making this card and I hope it brings a smile to her face.

Project Life 2014 ~ Week 27, 28, 29, & 30

 

Project Life ~ Week 27

Scooter came home from the wedding with us for a few weeks. We are so tickled that he is staying with us for a while. He and Logan are having a great time hanging out and "working" on things around the house. We went to the amphitheatre to see the 4th of July fireworks! It was beautiful...I really love fireworks.

Project Life ~ Week 28

We took Scooter to the Zoo and had a great time! We love having him down here with us. Tammy and I had our wedding reception this weekend. Some of our friends were recently married also so we had our reception together. It was so much fun. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to celebrate with us.

Project Life ~ Week 29

The best week! It is Logan's Birthday Week!!! Believe it or not, I didn't take the first birthday picture. I don't know where my head was. However we had a wonderful time with him. Our bedroom is finally finished. I am really loving the finished product. We went to Nashville and had a wonderful dinner at Ellendale's. But I have to say the desserts were my favorite; they were unbelievable!

Project Life ~ Week 30

What a relaxing week. The most exciting thing we did this week was go Kayaking at Lake Lurleen State Park. It was such a beautiful day.

Project Life ~ Week 25 & 26 (The Wedding)

Oh My Goodness! We get married next week!!! There was very little time to do anything that didn't involve the wedding. However, our Spiderman daylilies bloomed and we found 3 little kittens eating breakfast in our outside crate. So cute. And just look at those sweet ridgie faces.

Project Life ~ Week 26

Married! We are finally legally married! After 17 years, not because we wanted to wait, but because we weren't allowed to marry. It's still not legal in our state, but we (and our family) drove 12 hours to Cumberland, MD to make it legal. This is something we never thought would happen in our lifetime; there are no words for how it feels. The fact that our families came so far to be with us on this amazing day truly shows that love has no boundaries.

PS Some of these pictures are blacked out because we had a very special guest at our wedding who would lose her livelihood if it was found out that she was at a “same sex” wedding.

We had Tam’s mom’s birthday, meeting really big horses, and a visit with friends. Really good week!
