M & K Wedding

 

 

We had a wedding to go to and wanted to give the couple something that was handmade. This has got to be one of my favorite cards I've ever made. Hope they have a long, happy wedded life.

Project Life 2015 ~ Week 16

A slow but fun week. When I went to get my hair done this week I made a new friend. Andy is 4 months old and spent my whole appointment with me. Tam & I had a great date night at Cypress Inn (one of my favorite places.) On Saturday Mom & I went to Urban Decay's Master Class! We had so much fun and got lots of goodies. When we were done there we went to lunch with Tam and her mom. Afterwards we saw the biggest dragonfly I have ever seen. It was bigger than my hand and so pretty.

J's Card

I'm running a bit late getting things on here, but finally here it is. I wanted to make a really soft, pretty card for Tam's Mom's birthday and this Memory Box die helped make it happen. I love Memory Box dies and I hope to have time to play around with some of my others soon. I really like making shaker cards!

Project Life 2015 ~ Week 15

I love spring and getting out in nature. We have some beautiful flowers blooming in our yard and we found a really weird looking caterpillar. We didn't touch him! It seemed like a good time to change up our bedroom too, I love those pillow cases. Logan went shopping with me and was sweet enough to help me remember something I wanted to get later, he's so helpful.

Project Life ~ Week 14

The boys did great their first week here! Beaker is such a sweetheart and Fred is...well Fred. :) I believe Beaker is taken with Logan. We love having them here, even Sasha. Tam surprised me with dye and we colored eggs, so fun. Since Logan had to work a double, Tam took me to the Zoo for Easter. It was a beautiful day.

Project Life ~ Week 13

Last weekend we went to Memphis to visit Beverly & Duane. While we were there Beverly told us we could bring their birds home to live with us. So this weekend we went and picked them up. We are excited and a little nervous, these are our first Cockatoos and we want them to be happy here. I can't wait to see how they fit into our family. Welcome home Fred & Beaker.

Such a pretty week. Sasha has decided she wants to eat dinner with us...after she plays ball. She is also really starting to enjoy her shower time. Our yard looks more beautiful every week.

Project Life ~ Week 11

This week we went to the first Cullman Exotic Bird and Animal Expo and I fell in love with a 5 month old Buffon's Macaw, such a sweetheart! We bought Sasha a water bottle and she knew exactly what to do with it. We also hung out and were goofy with Logan, such fun. And my daffodils look beautiful blooming in our yard.

Project Life 2015 ~ Week 10

What a wickedly fun week! Did some crafting with Logan. Then made Mom do some crafting. For the end of the week I took Mom to Atlanta to see Wicked. It was my third time to see it and her first. It was fantastic! So thankful to Tam for making it possible.

Project Life 2015 ~ Week 9

We had a great time in Nashville. Tammy had to take classes, but still was able to hang out some. Time together, chocolate, snow, making flowers, friends and kittens. We also had lunch at two of my favorite places, The Chocolate Covered Strawberry and Fazoli's. Yummy!

Logan had to get 2 new tires this week. :( We saw a working payphone! I love these 1818 Farms products. Tam shortened & recovered her Mamaw's chair for me. And something happened to Logan's pants!

WHAT A WEEK!!!

Same sex couples can get married in Alabama! Monday Tammy & I registered our Certificate of Marriage at the courthouse. We then went to a huge celebration of love with lots of friends. We also went to Decatur for the weekend to celebrate Mardi Gras. We met some great new friends and ate at an awesome restaurant, Vittone's.

I made this one for my awesome friend MJ’s birthday. I hope she has a wonderful day. I fell in love with this little elephant and just had to use him! He is so beyond cute that I had to order the other set of stamps that has him also. Love both sets!!!

My friend just had a birthday and I had to use this cute gumball die to make her a card. I hope her day was filled with fun. This die is so much fun to work with and can be made with so many colors! I think I’m starting to have a shaker card problem. :)
