What do you buy the mom who has everything??? Nothing! You make her cards. My mom is in the Red Hat Society and goes by “Queen of Shoe-Ba.” So making her a set of shoe cards was a no brainer. For these I used Hero Arts “High Heels,” Village Arts Press “shoe” stamped with ColorBox black and embossed with Stampendous “Detail Clear” embossing powder (you were surprised weren’t you.) Now for a real surprise…the shoes are stamped on paint chips! As often as we paint I always have some lying around so why not put them to good use. I just cut them to size and rounded the corners. I love the look. I cut the cards with Tim Holtz On the Edge “Scrollwork.” It is a beautiful cut! As if they are not cute enough I also used Ranger Stickles “Diamond” and Stampendous Class a’ peel stickers. Products fit for a queen.
