Project Life ~ Week Forty
This week was filled with lots of sorrow and a few bright spots. We are still trying to hold those bright spots to us and breath around the sorrow. Remember to tell the people you love that you love them. Tomorrow may not come so make today count.

Project Life ~ Week Thirty-Two
We just started Level 2 Obedience classes with Nafia. Hope it goes well, most of the time I think she is smarter than me already. She is also getting ready for Halloween! She likes to get an early start. We had a week of beautiful skies and some great kayaking at Lake Lurleen. Just a good week.

Yes! Vibram Five Finger toe shoes!!! Love these shoes! I have 3 pairs of these. Took a friend of ours and Logan to buy them some toe shoes. We really didn’t do much this week, oh, Logan moved home this week so it was a happy week for me. However, I am sad for him, but it’s just till he finishes college.
I used Technique Tuesday’s “This One by Ali Edwards,” Fiskars’ “Outdoor Fun,” Lawn Fawn’s “Smitty’s ABCs” and “Jessie’s ABCs,” Stampendous’ “Bee Critter,” “Grasshopper Critter,” and “Turtle Critter,” studio g stamps and Tombow markers.

Project Life ~ Week Thirty
Logan went with his girlfriend and her family to Gatlinburg, TN. They seemed to have a great time. We live down the road from some coal mines and this was the highest we have seen the coal piled in 16 years. Our Four O’clock flowers tried to take over our front porch, they were taller than me, but they were beautiful. The worst this week, we lost our Artemis. She is very, very missed.

Big Thanks
I needed a thank you card for some friends who helped us out after Logan’s wreck and I love the CAS-ual Fridays’ “Big Thanks!” So I added a little bling, watercolor paper and distress inks and it was perfect.

Project Life ~ Week Twenty-Seven
Logan had a wreck this week, a really, really bad wreck. We are so blessed that he survived and is home with us. I have never been as scared as I was while waiting at the hospital. It could have been so much worse. No matter how scary a week it was, it was a wonderful one because we still have him.

Project Life ~ Week Twenty-Six
Oh yes, homemade buttermilk pie, a swim, and a quick walk on the treadmill! All in all, a good time. This week I used the clouds from Lawn Fawn’s “Blue Skies.”

Project Life ~ Week Twenty-Five
Just a little nature this week, not too much excitement. Except Nafia passed her AKC S.T.A.R. test! I used the stars from Simon Says Stamp’s “Cupcake Party” from the July 2013 Card Kit.

Lawnscaping Challenge # 63
I thought I would try a Lawnscaping Challenge this week. I love Lawn Fawn stamps and I love Simon Says Stamp (they’re sponsoring the challenge) so I thought why not give it a try. I’m not sure how much I like my card, maybe because I’m trying some new techniques, but it does look a lot better in person. Stop by Lawnscaping Challenges and join in the fun.
I used Lawn Fawn’s “Summertime Charm,” Doodlebug Design inc stamps, Simon Says Stamp’s “Moroccan Stencil,” Distress Inks in “broken china,” “tumbled glass,” and “peeled paint.” I also used Gelly Roll glaze and Clear Star pens.Sunday, August 11, 2013
Project Life ~ Week Twenty-Three
Ok, I confess, we really didn’t do much this week. Saw some movies, found some signed Project Life, made some cards, hung out with Logan…that’s it. However since I love hanging with Logan, it was a good week!

Project Life ~ Week Twenty-Two
We had a great time hanging out with Logan and Roxy. We went to the dog park and to Orr Park. Love the carvings in the trees. So cool. We had so many pictures this week we had no room to use any stamps.

Project Life ~ Week Twenty-One
We found Scarlet Ninjini this week! Don’t ask. Tam and I went to Red Lobster, mainly so I could have their yummy bisciuts. We also took Nafia kayaking for the first time this weekend. She did so much better than we though she would. She even seemed to like swimming in her new lifejacket. This week I used “Loopy Rings” by Memory Box and “The Great Outdoors” stamp by TPC Studio.

Project Life ~ Week Twenty
This week Nafia went to work with us and she went to the dog park, fun. Logan and I went to see Star Trek: Into Darkness. Such a good movie, even better than the first one.
