Link Up Love Party with K Andrew

Hey everyone, I’m so excited about Kristal’s Link Up Love Party! The last one was so much fun. It is such a great way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration. I am always inspired by Kristal’s blog http://www.gettingcricky.com/ and I can’t wait to see what everyone else is doing. After the past month I could use some beautiful inspiration.
I’m supposed to show you one of my favorite projects and I hope my son is okay with me posting this layout! This lo is one of the first I ever did and has three of my favorite things in it: my son, Basic Grey, and things cut with my Cricut. I have to tell you, by the time he cut his hair it was down to his waist. I really missed it after he cut it but he was able to donate a lot of hair to Locks for Love.

Purse Calender

Ok, I admit it...I'll take any excuse to buy and use Basic Grey paper. I haven't found one sheet that I didn't like. So when I made this coaster calendar of course I reached for my Basic Grey stash. I started by cutting 2 chipboard coasters with Accucut. I then cut 12 coasters from cardstock that matched my Basic Grey Elysian paper. I used my calender stamp from Hampton Arts for each month. We all have those stamps that we see and just have to have but then never seem to find the right place to use them. I thought this was the perfect time to use them (some of them for the first time) so I decorated each month with things I love. Let me know what you think or if you have your own twist to add to this project. Or if you have a minute tell me your favorite paper we know you have one.
