Project life ~ Week Fourteen

This week was a sad one for my family. We lost our little Gaia. We had her for 14 years and she was a baby doll. So PL this week was a little bit about her and a little bit about getting away from it all. I only used PL products this week.

Unity's Friends with Flair ~ Every Breath

I love Unity stamps and was tickled to be able to make a card for Friends with Flair today. The Phyllis Harris stamps are some of my all time favorite stamps so for my card today I used her “Every Breath” stamp. I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities’ “Resplendent Rectangles,” Stickles’ “Diamond,” and then colored with Scholar colored pencils. Really easy, but with a stamp this lovely you don’t need a lot of extras. Stop by Unity and check out all the fun on Friends with Flair.

Project life ~ Week Thirteen

This week was pretty busy. My favorite shaved ice place opened, yummy. We had a really great date night, love those “just us” evenings. I also got the new Ipod 5...love it! The camera is fantastic! This week might just make our lives even more wonderful, big days for marriage equality, we’ll just have to see how it goes. I had so much to say and so many pics that I really didn’t use anything else this week.

Project life ~ Week Twelve

This week was truly all about me and Mom. We never get this kind of time together so it was a really nice time. Can you believe I used pink/coral?!?
This week I used Studio Calico/Hero Arts’ “Lattice” background stamp, Stampendous Class a’ Peels, and some Scenic Route alphabet stickers I had just sitting on my table.

Project life ~ Week Eleven

What a fun week! We went to a dog obedience trial, went kayaking, and spent time with family. Loved it!
This week I used Tim Holtz “wood grain” embossing folder, Cloud9 Design “Dog,” Technique Tuesday’s “Life in Pictures” by Ali Edwards ,Tim Holtz Blueprint camera stamps and products from the Paper Studio.

Project life ~ Week Ten

What a fun week. We found a great new place to kayak…even though I’m a little concerned with the little rapids. Slash spoke out against hate. Our Roxy grandbaby turned one. And Logan found Ninjini! All in all, I’d say it was all good.
I used Cloud9 Design’s “Dog,” Lawn Fawn’s “Smitty’s ABCs,” TPC Studio’s “The Great Outdoors,” and Zing White embossing powder.

Project Life ~ Week Nine

Our new puppy was born this week! It’s taken a little over a year for me to be ready for a new furbaby, but I finally am. We are so excited and can’t wait to bring her home. Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat, so I never say no to a meal from there, especially with Krispy Kreme doughnuts for dessert. Logan bragged on us “worldwide” this week so that was a great feeling! And our “old man dog” Killer took a little nap with me. All in all it was a pretty sweet week.

I used Recollections clear stamps’ “Splat” for my raspberry “drips,” Cloud9 Design’s “Dog” for the bones, Unity’s “sit eat enjoy” and for the “sprinkles” I used the “I” from Stampendous’ “Tiny Alphabet.” I am really loving this set. I also used Memento’s “Tuxedo Black” and “London Fog” and Versa Color “Scarlet.
