Believe
This Christmas card just feels like snow and cold. I used Momenta’s Christmas Party “Icicle” paper, Technique Tuesday’s “Believe” by Ali Edwards, Stampendous Winter Wonderland embossing powder, and Gelly Roll Clear Star pen. A quick, easy, and cool card.

Joy to the World
Joy to the world, one of the first Christmas cards I made this year! I so love these blues and greens even if they aren’t “normal” Christmas colors! I used Reminisce’s Frosted Flakes paper, Technique Tuesday’s “Celebrate the Seasons” by Ali Edwards, Tombow markers 133 and 443, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, and Psychedelic embossing powder. This was such a fun card to make, it put me right into the Christmas mood.

2010 Christmas cards
Ok, I like to send out my Christmas cards the day after Thanksgiving, however last year I was a little late getting started so I needed something easy. These simple one layer cards were made with Inkadinkado “Winter Trails” and 4Klear Stamping “Season’s Greetings.” These were stamped with Color Box Black ink and heat embossed with Stampendous detail clear. A few Stampendous class a’ peel stickers and you’re ready to add a stamp.

Happy birthday...
Today I needed the perfect birthday card for a very special person; I hope this is it! I used Daisy D paper, Spellbinders’ “Fancy Tags,” and Technique Tuesday’s “Simply You” stamp. It was really simple to make, but I have to say I love how it turned out.

Made it Myself Mondays 19
Woohoo, another Made it Myself Monday! You have to stop by the You Had Me At Craft blog and see all the great things going on over there.
I love Halloween! So this year I made some “all grown up” cards to send out to some of my friends. I love My Mind’s Eye and I bought quite a few pieces of 29th Street Market’s “Adoring Print” which was a perfect background for these simple cards. I used both Studio G stamps and Tim Holtz stamps, and of course Stampendous Detail Clear embossing powder. All sentiments I did on the computer. I’ve also been practicing with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, and I don’t think it turned out too bad. Happy Halloween.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Most of us have had our lives touched by this horrible disease is one way or another. Waiting to find out if you have breast cancer is a very stressful thing to go through and I’m very thankful to the people who were there for me while I waited to hear if my life was about to be turned upside down. It’s not. I made this card as a thank you for “being there for me” and also as a reminder of how important it is to get a mammogram. I used Deja Views’ “Sweet Romance Grey Damask” and Core'dinations cardstock. I stamped and colored My Favorite Things Stamps’ “Think Pink.” I also used Studio g’s black ink and Stampendous Detail Clear Embossing powder. I hope she enjoys getting it this week. Please get a mammogram every year if you are over 40, it really can be a matter of life and death.

Card Drive
During my time going from blog to blog and being inspired I have come to realize something. It is not just all the beautiful and creative ideas that have inspired me, it is the beautiful and caring people who create the blogs that have inspired me the most. Today I was again inspired by the creative community.
